.002 The Fleet's Test Drive Meme

The Fleet: Test Drive Meme. 2. Comment with your thread start, with your character name and fandom in the subject line. 3. Tag into other's threads. 4. Have fun! 5. And what happens on the TDM defaults to staying on the TDM (it's not taken in game), unless all players involved agree AND you have mod approval to c&p the thread to the log comm. You must get mod approval. **If you have questions, ask the Mods You've arrived! You've been seen by a coolly efficient (what you hope is a) medical professional - after all they did give you a shot of something. Then you were handed a slew of things you're still trying to process - communication devices, a ring (which is also a key?), a piece of transparent film that's flashing information. And clothing, that was a thoughtful gesture. And then there was the explanation - You've been taken (isn't that a nice way of saying 'kidnapped') by that floating orb of light, you can't leave, but while you're here you get room and board. Is that really a fair trade? Oh, and to top everything off, you have a set of gem like stones set into your chest, that you can't remove. Before you know it, you've moved with the crowd towards the shuttle and now that you are sitting down, it's now suddenly sinking in. You are so very far from home. [NOTE: Please note that the actual arrival process is different from the above scenario - please see the New Arrivals Page for a detailed explanation of the arrival process.] [Cafeteria] You’re hungry, and though the smells coming from the cafeteria are strange, they are alluring. The grumble in your belly tells you it’s worth chancing. [Multipurpose Common Area] You’re bored but haven’t quite worked up the courage to venture out into the greater parts of the station. The common area of the residential community seems like it might provide some distractions. And the view out the large windows lining one wall is simply stunning. [The Center Station Central Gardens] In an environment where spatial expansion is finite, it seems extravagant to house a garden this big. What looks like giant trees at first glance, turn outo be the wire structures that rise up six stores before fanning out actually house various breeds of creeping vines. There are two levels of raised walkways that wind around the vine structures. The ground level also wraps lazily through various plots of vegetation. There is enough variety of plants here to keep anyone interested for hours. [Cemetery Ring] If you’re in more for a somber atmosphere, the Cemetery Ring is open to everyone. The first sign posted outside the door reads "We are the lights that shines brightest against the night." The sign below it simply says "All are welcome." This wide corridor, that traverses the whole very top of the Inner Rings, is dimly lit, but pinpoints of light twinkle all over the wall. The wall juts out in an effort to create more surface area for memorials to those Owmi who have passed on to the next life since the Owmi started their nomadic journey. The peacefulness of the room is inviting. [Strange Lights - previous plot] Something strange is happening. You've been here just a few days and before you can even get used to the fact you are an abductee of a glowing ball of light, you now have an aura of lights hanging around your head. The colors change, and if you watch them for a moment (from a mirror - they are hard to get a good look of out of the corner of your eye) you notice they match the colors of the gem like stones fixed to your chest. And if you're really observant, you might catch on that the colors and intensity of the lights change with your mood. [Pinkie Pie's Fun Day Celebration - previous plot] Confetti/Glitter Bombs! Sometimes there’s a pair of eyes watching various residents going in and out of their rooms. Or walking around the habitat station at various places. Wherever your character may be, Pinkie is waiting with a bucket full of confetti or glitter. She forgets which one she takes with her since she prepared so many for this day. How she’s getting around without being noticed is a mystery, but that works just fine for her! Common Area Mingling! At the common area, Pinkie has the entire place decked out with balloons, confetti, several piñatas hanging from the ceiling (how did they get up there?!), and an area set up for games. She couldn’t find the actual games like the ones back home, so she had to make them herself. There’s chess, Twister, but instead of boring circles, there’s images of pink icing-covered donuts, chocolate chip cookies, blue cupcakes, and pistachio ice cream cups taped to the floor in four rows of ten, a place to play card games with images of herself in various costumes along with the card suits. There are several cakes with names attached to them on any table she could find. There’s one large cake with no name for everyone and everypony to share! It’s oddly plain, isn’t it? Not suspicious at all! There’s also snacks like fruit, cheese, crackers, cookies, and drinks to enjoy! No alcohol, though! Sorry! This party is rated G! And of course the party has piñata. A blindfold and stick are ready for the first challenger! Choose any piñata there! One looks dangerous! They’re filled with candy! Or confetti! Or both! “Step right up, ladies and gentlecolts! Try your luck and break open a piñata!” [NOTE: Please note that Pinkie Pie is no longer in game, so she will not be responding to any threads using this option.] [Planet Exploration: Baj E'oku Prime - current plot] A new opportunity! No longer do you need to wander the giant space Habitat Station. You now get the opportunity to explore a section of the planet Baj E'oku Prime. It's small, tidal locked planet. The area you can explore is dusty and red with surprising wild life. There are canyons and highlands, rivers and caves to explore. (See link for greater details.) What adventures or trouble will you find? |

"That would be General Anakin Skywalker, Jedi Knight."
no subject
"How long have you been to the Owmi Fleet?"
no subject
"You know, you never did mention your own name," he said, notably dropping formalities. This fresh-faced kid may speak and act like militia, but for all Fives knew, he could be a lieutenant or some snotty deckhand that liked to think themselves superior to clones.
"And as for how long I've been here, I'd say over two months."
no subject
"I am General Hux of the First Order. We are based on the Empire's ideology." He replied in a tone that indicated that he was quite proud of who he was and served for.
no subject
"Well whatever messed up place you're from, this is far from it, so there's little good in flashin' that rank of yours."
no subject
"I don't care where we are from, but if you think we're equals you got another thing coming," Hux shot back.
no subject
"I am from Kamino and part'uv th' Grand Army of the Republic. I don't know which Empire you're talking about, but if you're based off'uv it then that just tells me it wasn't as effective if you've got some new order runnin' around."
no subject
"Don't insult the Empire or the First Order in front of me." He growled.

Letting go of his helmet, the ARC Trooper reacted accordingly once he hit the ground, jerking up a knee towards the general's gut. Whether or not that connected, he would attempt to shove the man off of him. The first move was a freebie for Hux, but an engineered clone trooper wasn't going to be a light opponent, and even without weapons, Fives was well equipped to take someone out unarmed.
"Take a page from your own book, Hux, an' don't insult a soldier who's fought for somethin' better than an Empire or any First Order."
no subject
The general twisted himself so he just missed the knee to the gut. One hand still had him pinned down around the shoulders and the other hand was balled into a fist ready to punch the trooper in the face. That was his answer to the remark, whether or he succeeds.
no subject
The clone jerked his head as far to the side as possible once Hux's fist came down, or at least to minimize the blow if it came at an angle than straight downwards. One hand down and one hand up meant that Hux couldn't completely pin down the trooper, and he left himself just as much of a target as he thought to make Fives there on the ground.
Fives held nothing back as he balled up his own fist, swinging not moments after Hux had made his own attempt, trying to catch him off guard while the man had to move inwards with his own attack.
no subject
Hux turned his head enough so that the blow only hit the bottom of his jaw. He could feel blood already from the busted lip that came from it. Despite being hit he refused to let go of his hold. His blue eyes still filled with rage.
no subject
Fives glared back in an unspoken challenge, but he wasn't going to wait quietly for Hux's next move. He moved his other hand to grab a hold of arm or collar. If the man wasn't going to get off, then Fives was just going to have to try again to make him. Either he could move himself, or try and avoid that knee again as the clone trooper jerked it up once more.
no subject
The general grabbed hold of Five's wrist and twisted around enough to gain leverage and void the knee once more. It was leverage he hoped that would enough to try and flip the trooper over.
no subject
Whether that worked or not, he'd attempt to push back, elbow lowered so he could try ramming his armored shoulder into Hux's chest as Fives leveled himself up with his other hand.

Swirls of light burst from zir hands, spiraling towards the two combatants. Each beam of light wrapped around a torso, pinning arms to sides. Ze gestured, moving zir hands apart, and the two Ejirin drifted apart, still fixed firm by the magic.
"Physical assault is not allowed," ze said forcefully, sending fierce glances between the two.
no subject
"His commanding officer better recondition his trooper," Hux angrily shot back. "He showed no respect to an officer."
no subject
"I'll recondition your face!" he growled at the general, trying to lurch forward in the man's direction.
no subject
"Your respective position being what they are, physical assault is still not allowed," ze said. "It is against the law. Violation of the law may result in a sentence of manual labor or being chipped to prevent violence or both."
A discussion about the Owmi criminal justice system was bound to happen some time.
"To avoid judicial sanctions, there can be only one resolution to this encounter."
no subject
"What do you mean by being chipped?" he questioned in an authoritative tone.
He shot a look of venom toward the trooper, but said nothing in his direction.
no subject
His mouth opened, his eyes widening even as Hux questioned the details of being chipped. The thought just made his blood run cold as he was reminded of what Anakin had told them, effectively silencing him, if for the moment.
