[Shuttle]
You've arrived! You've been seen by a coolly efficient (what you hope is a) medical professional - after all they did give you a shot of something. Then you were handed a slew of things you're still trying to process - communication devices, a ring (which is also a key?), a piece of transparent film that's flashing information. And clothing, that was a thoughtful gesture. And then there was the explanation - You've been taken (isn't that a nice way of saying 'kidnapped') by that floating orb of light, you can't leave, but while you're here you get room and board. Is that really a fair trade? Oh, and to top everything off, you have a set of gem like stones set into your chest, that you can't remove.

Before you know it, you've moved with the crowd towards the shuttle and now that you are sitting down, it's now suddenly sinking in.

You are so very far from home.

[NOTE: Please note that the actual arrival process is different from the above scenario - please see the New Arrivals Page for a detailed explanation of the arrival process.]

[Cafeteria]
You’re hungry, and though the smells coming from the cafeteria are strange, they are alluring. The grumble in your belly tells you it’s worth chancing.

~ ~

[Multipurpose Common Area]
You’re bored but haven’t quite worked up the courage to venture out into the greater parts of the station. The common area of the residential community seems like it might provide some distractions. And the view out the large windows lining one wall is simply stunning.

~ ~

[The Center Station Central Gardens]
In an environment where spatial expansion is finite, it seems extravagant to house a garden this big. What looks like giant trees at first glance, turn outo be the wire structures that rise up six stores before fanning out actually house various breeds of creeping vines. There are two levels of raised walkways that wind around the vine structures. The ground level also wraps lazily through various plots of vegetation. There is enough variety of plants here to keep anyone interested for hours.

~ ~

[Cemetery Ring]
If you’re in more for a somber atmosphere, the Cemetery Ring is open to everyone.

The first sign posted outside the door reads "We are the lights that shines brightest against the night." The sign below it simply says "All are welcome."

This wide corridor, that traverses the whole very top of the Inner Rings, is dimly lit, but pinpoints of light twinkle all over the wall. The wall juts out in an effort to create more surface area for memorials to those Owmi who have passed on to the next life since the Owmi started their nomadic journey.

The peacefulness of the room is inviting.

[Strange Lights - previous plot]
Something strange is happening. You've been here just a few days and before you can even get used to the fact you are an abductee of a glowing ball of light, you now have an aura of lights hanging around your head. The colors change, and if you watch them for a moment (from a mirror - they are hard to get a good look of out of the corner of your eye) you notice they match the colors of the gem like stones fixed to your chest. And if you're really observant, you might catch on that the colors and intensity of the lights change with your mood.

[Pinkie Pie's Fun Day Celebration - previous plot]

Confetti/Glitter Bombs!
Sometimes there’s a pair of eyes watching various residents going in and out of their rooms. Or walking around the habitat station at various places. Wherever your character may be, Pinkie is waiting with a bucket full of confetti or glitter. She forgets which one she takes with her since she prepared so many for this day. How she’s getting around without being noticed is a mystery, but that works just fine for her!

Common Area Mingling!
At the common area, Pinkie has the entire place decked out with balloons, confetti, several piñatas hanging from the ceiling (how did they get up there?!), and an area set up for games. She couldn’t find the actual games like the ones back home, so she had to make them herself. There’s chess, Twister, but instead of boring circles, there’s images of pink icing-covered donuts, chocolate chip cookies, blue cupcakes, and pistachio ice cream cups taped to the floor in four rows of ten, a place to play card games with images of herself in various costumes along with the card suits. There are several cakes with names attached to them on any table she could find. There’s one large cake with no name for everyone and everypony to share! It’s oddly plain, isn’t it? Not suspicious at all!

There’s also snacks like fruit, cheese, crackers, cookies, and drinks to enjoy! No alcohol, though! Sorry! This party is rated G!

And of course the party has piñata. A blindfold and stick are ready for the first challenger! Choose any piñata there! One looks dangerous! They’re filled with candy! Or confetti! Or both!

“Step right up, ladies and gentlecolts! Try your luck and break open a piñata!”

[NOTE: Please note that Pinkie Pie is no longer in game, so she will not be responding to any threads using this option.]

[Planet Exploration: Baj E'oku Prime - current plot]

A new opportunity! No longer do you need to wander the giant space Habitat Station. You now get the opportunity to explore a section of the planet Baj E'oku Prime. It's small, tidal locked planet. The area you can explore is dusty and red with surprising wild life. There are canyons and highlands, rivers and caves to explore. (See link for greater details.) What adventures or trouble will you find?

The name had come up as the Owmi usually tended to send them a list whenever new arrivals came. And here was one that was very familiar. It would be easier to spot a Jedi if they weren't dressed like nearly everyone else here. On the other hand, it was almost impossible to miss someone running around in full Phase II clone armor and the extra trappings of an ARC Trooper. Just...without the weapons.

The gardens were his first bet to find a wandering Jedi, and upon seeing the general he remembered, Fives smiled within his helmet as he began to approach.

     "...General Kenobi?"
hadthehighground: (disbelief 2)

Omg a clone. I love you. :'D

He should have sensed someone coming, but he didn't, and is genuinely startled when someone says his name. A voice that was very familiar to him as he had heard several very similar verions of it throughout the war.

Obi-Wan looked up and then quickly jumped to his feet as he saw the Trooper in his armor. At first there was alarm in his eyes. The last time he'd seen clones... well. It hadn't been a very happy experience. But upon a closer look, he realized that he knew this particular clone.

"It can't be... Fives?"

There was relief in the way his stance seemed to relax, and the ARC Trooper removed his helmet, greeting the Jedi with an almost sad smile as he tucked his bucket beneath an arm.

"That's an affirmative, sir." He'd seen the look in the other man's eyes and it only made him wonder from just what point Obi-Wan had come. After the things he'd heard from his own general, Fives was afraid to find out. "Ah...well, th' circumstances here are about as odd as anything can get, but despite th' situation, it's always good to see a familiar face."
hadthehighground: (concerned)

TBH I was also tempted to try Rex cause of you guys.

[personal profile] hadthehighground 2016-02-21 03:31 am (UTC)(link)
Obi-Wan relaxed a bit as well as the trooper took off his helmet. The tattoo was more than enough proof that this was the man he had recognized. But... how was this even possible? Fives had died, Anakin had told him about it.

"Oh yes, I agree. Though I must admit, I'm surprised to see you here, trooper."

How do you tell someone that they're supposed to be dead?
notjustanumber: (Hm.)

*FLAIL*

[personal profile] notjustanumber 2016-02-21 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
He could only guess at what might be going through the Jedi's mind, but at least Obi-Wan would be spared being the deliverer of such dismal news. Lips quirking slightly, Fives shrugged a little, letting his smile drop away with his shoulders.

"You weren't th' only one," he said, knowing full well how it was to see someone you thought to be dead alive here. Boy was the joke on him, though. "This place, th' Orakalla that the people here claim brought us- it somehow doesn't just bring people from all over th' place, but even different times within the same galaxy."

Fives lifted his gaze towards the bearded general, almost hesitantly. "...the few others from home that've come here are all from a point farther than what I know. Safe to assume it's th' same with you?"
hadthehighground: (Deep in thought)

[personal profile] hadthehighground 2016-02-21 04:20 am (UTC)(link)
"Oh, I see..." His words trailing off as Obi-Wan stroked his chin thoughtfully. So then Fives already knew. It's a relief and yet not at the same time. But the whole bit about different times is what causes the Jedi's brow to furrow slightly. That's certainly quite a thing there, and he has no reason to distrust what the trooper is saying. Despite being unable to sense dishonesty now.

Obi-Wan then nodded slowly in affirmation to the question. "Yes." And there's a pause, remembering what Anakin had said about Fives. "You were right, you know. If only we had listened."

notjustanumber: (A good soldier follows orders huh)

[personal profile] notjustanumber 2016-02-21 04:44 am (UTC)(link)
Despite already knowing the worst had come to pass, it never made it any easier to accept, and for all that he had been told, Fives still couldn't help but feel some sort of responsibility for it. He didn't know the details firsthand, so he could only wonder that maybe something else could have been done.

Wonder and regret. It might be strange to regret something that you hadn't even experienced, but it was there, and Fives had no other word for it. He was a soldier, he had a duty. He had his loyalties, and for all that he had apparently done, he had failed. That had hit him harder than to know that he'd died.

"...I'm...sorry, sir," he found himself saying, his gaze drifting towards the ground. As if words could do anything, could change what had happened.
hadthehighground: (are you serious?)

[personal profile] hadthehighground 2016-02-21 05:02 am (UTC)(link)
Regret. It didn't take use of the Force to see that on the soldier's face. Obi-Wan could hardly leave him to think like that. So he stepped forward to place his hand on the trooper's shoulder plate.

"You did what you could. That's all anyone could ask for."

He had tried, and that's what counted. It was their fault for not having taken it more seriously. He and the council had been so blind. The realized too little too late, and it had cost them dearly.
notjustanumber: (Just keep going)

[personal profile] notjustanumber 2016-02-21 05:16 am (UTC)(link)
Fives nodded slowly at that. It was about as much as could be said or done, and while he appreciated the gesture from Obi-Wan, it did nothing to ease those feelings. In a way he felt it wasn't fair. Here, he was basically being given a second chance he had previously not known he would have needed, and yet it came with the bitter knowledge that everything they'd fought for, that he'd fought for, was for naught.

"Little difference it makes here, I guess. Heh. Maybe I'm not th' best person to be playin' the part of welcoming committee." Not if he'd have to keep going through this with anyone that might be from the Grand Army of the Republic or the Jedi.
hadthehighground: (doesn't count)

[personal profile] hadthehighground 2016-02-21 05:40 am (UTC)(link)
There was truth to that. It made little difference. What was done was done, and there's nothing either of them could do about it. So Obi-Wan could only give the man reassuring pat on the shoulder before lowering his arms and managing a smile.

"Like you said, it's good to see a familiar face, especially a friendly one. I'm hardly in a position to complain."

Aside from the obvious circumstances of course.

"Except perhaps these clothes."

Not exactly standard Jedi fare to be sure.
notjustanumber: (Hm.)

[personal profile] notjustanumber 2016-02-21 05:49 am (UTC)(link)
The laugh that came from the clone wasn't completely forced. Fives shook his head as he looked at the loose and flowing attire that he had been only too happy to trade in for his armor as soon as he'd had the chance.

"An' here I thought Jedi would be more used to something like that. I don't know how th' Omwi can wear those all the time. Even the uniforms we had in Kamino when we weren't in combat training was more fitted than that." A crooked if faint smile made its way back upon his face.

"Don't worry, sir. I'm assumin' the same thing that brought us here also dropped my armor off after some time, so maybe you'll get your Jedi robes an' armor at some point."
hadthehighground: (friendly)

[personal profile] hadthehighground 2016-02-21 03:38 pm (UTC)(link)
A little wry smile came to Obi-Wan's face at that. To be honest he felt more like he was in a hospital with these clothes. But at least he had something to wear at all. Arriving disoriented and... indecent, was certainly shocking to say the least.

"Let's hope so, these are a little too breezy for my liking."

Getting his lightsaber back would certainly be a nice plus too. Among other things.

"Tell me, how long have you been here?"
notjustanumber: (What now?)

[personal profile] notjustanumber 2016-02-22 07:41 am (UTC)(link)
Fives smiled knowingly. "I don't miss bein' stuck with 'em day in and out, that's for sure."

He took a moment to consider how long it had been. Since they weren't on a planet they couldn't tell the passing of days by sunup or sundowns, but at least the communicators had some sort of chronometer. It was still a bit of an estimation, given that the clone wasn't sure how days and weeks were divided with the Owmi. But he wasn't speaking with one right now.

"'bout two months now, maybe even moving onto three," he replied. "It's been strange. I don't mind a break from th' fighting, especially after the mess on Umbara, but for this long? There was more excitement on th' Rishi Outpost, and that was before the Seppies had even infiltrated."
