She doesn't ask about it much, not wanting to be compared to the others who came before her (and were lost) but sometimes she has to wonder if she'll ever meet any of them. So when Rose started to talk about her pilot and wasn't quite sure how to describe him properly, she has to wonder now. "Sounds as complicated as my relationship with my pilot. Have to wonder if maybe it's the same pilot." That's about as subtle as a brick through a window but also gave them both the opportunity to keep their secrets for the time being.

"Well, there's the one time I met Robin Hood and his Merry Men. My pilot couldn't keep his mouth shut and ended up in a fight with Robin - Robin with his sword and my friend with a spoon. 'Course the Sherriff of Nottingham was working together with a bunch of robots who'd crash landed in the forest."
