Leia was happy to see another kid around. Sure, he was significantly older than she was, but still, it was nice not to be the only one among all these grown ups. She giggled a little at his confusion; the food here was certainly new, but it was hardly the strangest thing she'd ever eaten.

"Yeah, it's food," she assured him. "You should try some of that, by the way; it's really good. A little sweet and a little spicy, but not too much of either." She was indicating what looked like a dish of different colored cooked vegetables in a reddish sauce.
