It wasn't the fact that the being who sat down next to her was a quadraped that first drew Leia's attention. It wasn't even that said being was covered in blue fur or that they had wings. There were species in her own galaxy that had those traits too, though admittedly this was the first time she'd seen them combined. It was the rainbow colored hair. This was, as far as she knew, not a trait that occurred naturally in any species. Some certainly had striped hair of more than one color, but not like this. Of course, any color combination was possible with hair dye, but this looked completely natural.

She also realized that she had no idea what the being's gender was. The being's voice didn't help either, when they spoke. She did nod a little to the questions of whether or not she was alone, and if Rainbow could sit there though. "My name's Leia," she said. "I'd say it was nice to meet you, but..." She sighed. "Well it would be nice if we weren't here, you know?"

She paused briefly. "Your hair is really pretty," she said by way of attempting to continue the conversation in a way that would be less depressing. "Do all the people where you're from have hair that's all different colors like that?"
