Leia smiled right back, nodding confirmation of her identity when Padmé took her hands. And shortly thereafter the hug was happily accepted and returned, Leia snuggling instinctively into the most comfortable position for them both as if this wasn't the first time they'd held each other. To Leia it felt both like and unlike being hugged by Breha; many of the emotions were similar, but there was an undercurrent through the connection they shared that made Padmé's hugs feel unique, just like hugs from each of her daddies felt unique. Each special in their own way.

After a long moment like that, her mommy spoke again and Leia looked up at her a little more so her reply wouldn't be too muffled against Padmé's clothes. "No," she said. "My mommy and daddy hadn't told me that I had another family yet back home; I didn't find that out til I came here. But I did see you sometimes, in my dreams, even if I didn't know who you were. ...I think that was you watching out for me from the Force."

"But now that you're here, you can do it for real," Leia said, not dwelling on the sad part of things. Not when there was so much to be happy about. "And guess what? Daddy's here too, and he's OK! He's been teaching me to use the Force! And Luke was here, but he got sent back home. He's OK too, though, so you don't need to worry; he'll be a great Jedi someday. And he might come back here sometime too, so if he does, you can meet him then."
