Anakin screwed up his face. "What Empire?" Anakin tried to make sense of the things Ezra said. And spoke out loud as he did. "The people on Cornelion IV kidnapped me just before the Owmi did. But they didn't know what Jedi were and the Owmi don't either. There aren't a lot of people stupid enough to know about Jedi and go after them. I can't not wear this, my master won't let me not." Anakin may be confusing Obi-Wan rigid adherence to even the most tenuous guidelines and that they keep them all to the letter with mere traditions and suggestions.
