Leia had missed meeting her mommy just after her return in the Sacred Keep, but she would not be stopped from seeking her out now. Thankfully the Force was helpful with that, and she followed the recently reconnected thread of her link looking for her. It wasn't as strong as it was with Anakin- likely because Padmé wasn't Force-Sensitive- but Leia's own determination more than made up for any lack.

Leia's search leads her to the cafeteria, and to a very familiar woman with a very familiar necklace. Leia has one too; the same one, in fact, given to her by her mommy when she was last brought there. It's tucked inside her shirt, ready to be evidence to prove who she is if needed. Because Leia knows that Padmé might not remember being there before, and thus might not remember her as anything but a baby. That's the only thing that keeps her from just running up and hugging her.

Instead she walks up to the table relatively calmly to where her returned mother is sitting. "Hi," she said. "I like your necklace."
