The nightmares about The Master dying in his arms still torments The Doctor in the middle of the night - what happened to him? Did The Master regenerate? That and how things weren't patched up with Martha and how things may never should Ten return home. All the trauma that she had gone. though - because he couldn't be of as much use as normal and should The Doctor ever return home - has a feeling in his gut that Martha doesn't want to continue on with him. Which Ten wouldn't blame Martha after what has been said.

But Ten had cared for her - granted it happened a bit late into their adventuring because he was still broken over Rose.

Not that he'll ever completely be over Rose but looking back - Martha probably had been attachmented by The Doctor, he, however, held Martha to Rose standards and took his time to see her as an individual and used Martha to try and heal from Rose.

Needless, to say, Ten is wandering down the hallway of the spaceship in his usual blue pinstripe suit and sandshoes when he's alerted someone new has arrived. Which it's been awhile it seems since that has happened.

He's close, very close to not wanting any new companion and how he's carrying himself down the hallway sort of shows that.

When Rose's name appears on the screen - his hearts pitter-patter for a moment. Then blinks a few times to make sure he's not dreaming.

Then runs to the Shuttle!

"Rose!? Is that really you?!"
